Max Paoli

Position : TWAS Programme Coordinator

Dr. Paoli was born in Trieste, Italy. He studied biochemistry at York, UK, and obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry focusing on protein structure. He worked in research projects at the Harvard Medical School and in New Zealand, before becoming a “David Phillips” Research Fellow in Cambridge, UK, where he also began to teach. He held lectureship positions in Australia and Nottingham. Since starting to work for The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), Dr. Paoli widened his interest in education and sustainable development.
