Biography:

Prof. Ali Vatani is adviser to the Vice Presidency for Science & Technology of Iran and currently works as National Project Director (NPD) of Energy Efficiency & Environment in Building in the I.R. of Iran. He works at the School of Chemical Engineering and as Head of Institute of LNG at University of Tehran. He received his BSc in Oil Production & Processing from University of Tehran in 1985 and his PhD. in Transport Phenomena in Annular Packed Beds from University of Leeds in 1997. His research interests include Oil & Gas processes such as Gas Sweetening, Gas dehydration, LNG, NGL and SRU and Multiphase Flow in pipelines & wells, Gas Transmission and Distribution Network. Prof. Vatani is a scientist in the field of Two-Phase Flow in Pipelines and Wells and Gas Processing (LNG). He has published 100 scientific documents in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals. His research papers have more than 2873 Google Scholar citations along with his 31 h-index.
