Dr. Festus Victor Bekun currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Gelisim University Turkey, Istanbul, Turkey. He is also a senior research fellow at South Ural State University Russia and University of Johannesburg South Africa. Dr. Bekun is also affiliated with the prestigious Lebanese American University, Beirut, Lebanon as a senior research fellow. He has over 214 scientific publications indexed in WOS and Scopus top-tier outlets and h-index over 49, 41, and 42 in Google Scholar, Scopus, and WOS, respectively. Dr. Bekun is listed among global influential scientists as outlined by Stanford University among global 2% influential scientists for the 2021 edition. His research interest lies in the areas of agricultural economics, energy economics, sustainability, and carbon reduction policies. Dr. Bekun's works have appeared in top-tier journals including Science of the Total Environment, Energy & Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy & Environment, Sustainable Development, Current Issues in Tourism, Heliyon, and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Review (RSER) Journal. He is currently serving as an associate editor to several WOS- and Scopus-index journals namely Journal of Sustainable Finance and Investment, Open Agriculture, Journal of Risk and Financial Management, Sustainability, and Journal of Public Affairs.
