Prof. Yuldashev Akramjon Sultanmuradovich was born on December 22, 1960, in the Zhalakuduk district of the Andijan region. His eldest son's name is Umid and the youngest is Rashid. From 1978 to 1983, he studied biology at Samarkand State University. From 1983 to 1997, he worked as a senior laboratory assistant, junior researcher, and assistant at the Department of Botany of Samarkand State University and was engaged in scientific activities in the field of biological research. In 1989, he successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences. From 2000 to 2015, he held senior positions in the field of education and science in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2021, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences. From 2015 to the present, he has been the rector of Andijan State University named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, the largest higher educational institution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He is an honorary professor of Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk, Republic of Belarus.
