Prof. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi has served as the Vice Chancellor of University of Karachi since 29 July 2022. He has earlier served 2 years and 9 months as Acting Vice Chancellor of University of Karachi. He completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Public Administration, University of Karachi in 2006. He has 34 years of teaching experience and supervised 35 Ph.D candidates. He has 60 published research articles in reputable journals and has also participated in more than 30 International Conferences and 30 National Conferences. He has been elected as a distinguished International Professor in the Council of Global Scholars, Ovidius University of Constanta, Romania as well as the Honorary Excellency Award in Japan International Press Club in 2019.
