Known internationally for his pioneering work in biomedical engineering and gerontechnology, Dr. Mohd Nazim Mohtar stands as a distinguished figure in the realm of academic research and scientific innovation. Holding the prestigious title of Ts Dr, Nazim is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Laboratory at the Malaysian Research Institute on Ageing (MyAgeingTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia. His journey into academia began with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Engineering from the University of Surrey, followed by a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution. Throughout his illustrious career, Nazim has made significant contributions to various fields, particularly in biomedical microengineering and medical electronic engineering. His expertise extends to electrical and electronic engineering, where he has served in leadership roles and made groundbreaking advancements in areas such as flexible circuitry and wearable devices.
