Biography:

 

Yasuhiko Saito is a Research Project Professor at the College of Economics, Nihon University, Tokyo, Japan, an Adjunct Professor at the School of Gerontology, University of Southern California, USA, and a Senior Policy Fellow at ERIA, Jakarta, Indonesia. His specializations are in demography and gerontology, and he has been working on population aging and health issues in both developed and developing countries. Currently, he is overseeing a longitudinal survey project on aging and health in the Philippines and Vietnam.
