Field of study : Bioinformatics, specializing in Pan-genomics, OMICS technologies (including bulk & single-cell sequencing data analyses and genome annotations), computational biology, diversity analysis, host-pathogen interactions using artificial intelligence (Machine Learning/Deep Learning), big-data visualization, and the development of bioinformatics methods, resources, and software.

Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qamar is a renowned bioinformatics scientist and academician known for his impactful contributions to computational biology, OMICS technologies, and the application of artificial intelligence in life sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), Wuhan, China. With a career spanning over a decade, Dr. Qamar has established a distinguished reputation for advancing the integration of machine learning and big data analytics into biological research, particularly in pan-genomics.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator at Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan, and also as Deputy Director of the Directorate of International Linkages, his academic influence extends globally through collaborations across Asia, the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. Dr. Qamar's research is widely published and cited, and he is frequently invited to deliver keynote talks at international conferences. He has played an instrumental role in developing bioinformatics curricula and establishing advanced research facilities.
