Prof. Dr. Aamer Saeed was born in Jhelum, Pakistan. After earning a BSc degree from the University of Punjab, Lahore, he earned his M.Sc. M. Phil, followed by a Ph.D. degree from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He has been awarded the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany twice Dr. Saeed was awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (GOP); besides, he is a Fellow Royal Society of Chemistry FRSC (UK), Fellow of the Chemical Society of Pakistan, Fellow Pakistan Academy of Sciences, Gold Medal PAS, Gold Medal, (IFT Gov. Punjab), Dr. M. Razziuddin Siddiqi Prize in Chemistry, and Research Productivity Award from 2004 to 2017 in category: A by PCST. He was awarded the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship in Germany (2001) and holds a consistently elevated position in the World's Top 2% Scientists list (2020-24) by Elsevier and Stanford University. He has nearly 700 Publications with a Cumulative Impact Factor of more than 3500, Total citations: 17500, and an h-index of 53 (Scopus). He has Patents: International: (07), National: (02), Book Chapters (21 in Elsevier, Springer, Wiley) on his credit. His book “Recent Advances in Industrial Biochemistry” has been published by Springer Nature Switzerland AG, and 02 books have been published by National publishers. It is admirable that he has secured multiple national and international research grants. His contributions have significantly enhanced the university's international ranking. In addition to his research achievements, Prof. Dr. Aamer Saeed is a dedicated educator and mentor who has inspired countless students and young researchers. His commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and curiosity within the academic community is truly commendable. He has supervised 26 PhD, 81 M.Phil., and many co-supervised. He is truly dedicated to his role as an educator and mentor. He had an impressive academic career, holding significant positions such as Chairman of the Chemistry Department and Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
