Professor Adnan Maqsood is a Professor of Aerospace Engineering and the Director of Policy & Strategy at the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST). As a key academic leader, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives to scale the university's portfolio across various disciplines. He is a key figure in formulating contemporary policies for academic affairs, particularly at the intersection of digitalization, talent cultivation, and internationalization. He has successfully managed several Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) grants for establishing interdisciplinary laboratories and academic infrastructure. Professor Maqsood is also an active researcher, heading the Computational Aeronautics Lab and focusing on flight dynamics, aerodynamics, and UAV systems. He has authored over 95 scientific publications and has supervised more than 50 graduate students.
