Prof. Dr. Ali Polat is a distinguished academic and internationally recognized expert in banking and finance. He completed his undergraduate studies at Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Finance, and earned both his master’s and Ph.D. degrees from Marmara University, Institute of Banking and Insurance. With a robust background in the finance sector, he held key positions in foreign transactions and international banking at prominent institutions such as Faisal Finance Institution Inc., Family Finance Institution Inc., and Türkiye Finance Institution Inc.
In 2009, Prof. Dr. Polat joined King Saud University in Saudi Arabia as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business Administration. During his tenure, he taught undergraduate and graduate courses, engaged in collaborative international research, and contributed significantly to the global discourse in finance. His scholarly work includes numerous publications in reputable national and international journals, as well as several authored books in the field.
Currently serving as a faculty member at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics, Prof. Dr. Ali Polat continues to contribute to academic excellence and policy-relevant economic research. His extensive academic and professional experience has earned him recognition as a respected voice in international financial and academic circles.
