Professor Belhadj Mohamed Omrane is a distinguished scientist and academic with a prolific career spanning physical chemistry, biochemistry, and biotechnology. He earned his Ph.D. in Radiation Chemistry from Leeds University, UK, and an M.Sc. in Gas Chromatography from Baghdad University. He has held professorships and conducted research at several esteemed institutions, including the University Pierre & Marie Curie in Paris, the Collège de France, the Ecole Normale Supérieure, and various universities in Tunisia, Algeria, and China. His extensive research has resulted in over 430 articles, amassing more than 15,800 citations with an H-index of 70. A dedicated mentor, he has supervised the graduation of 48 Ph.D. students and has presented at over 170 conferences.
