Biography:

Dr. Faisal M. Fadlelmola is a distinguished professor, principal investigator, and biomedical scientist renowned for his expertise in cancer genomics, bioinformatics, and the molecular epidemiology of cancer. With over two decades of experience, he has played a pivotal role in advancing genomic medicine, translational bioinformatics, and data science across Africa. He founded and directed the Kush Centre for Genomics & Biomedical Informatics and the Biotechnology Perspectives Organization and serves as Principal Investigator of the Sudan node in the NIH Data Science Initiative Africa Consortium. Dr. Fadlelmola has been instrumental in building bioinformatics capacity through the H3ABioNet consortium and is a NASA Transformative Open Science Fellow and Open Science Ambassador. He has authored numerous high-impact publications and has earned international recognition for his contributions to research, mentorship, and policy development in biomedical sciences.
