Professor Moncef Feki is a distinguished leader in clinical biochemistry and medical research in Tunisia. He earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Sfax in 1986 and specialized in Medical Biology with a focus on Clinical Biochemistry. Since joining the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis as an Assistant Professor in 1990, he has progressed to the rank of Full Professor. Dr. Feki has held prominent academic and administrative roles, including serving as the former President of the College of Biochemistry and currently as the President of the Examining Board for Undergraduate Medical Studies at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis. His research, supported by his current role as a laboratory head and director, focuses on the role of lipids, fatty acids, and vitamins in human health and disease. He has explored the involvement of oxylipins and endocannabinoids in inflammatory diseases and has a notable publication record of over 240 articles in indexed, peer-reviewed journals, with more than 3,300 citations and an H-index of 28. Dr. Feki is also a dedicated mentor, having supervised over 30 doctoral students and medical residents.
