Professor Riyazali Sayyed is a distinguished academic and researcher with over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and administration. He serves as a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and Chemistry at the University of Nizwa in Oman. Recognized as a top-cited researcher by both Elsevier and Clarivate, he has made significant contributions to the fields of plant-microbe interaction and biopolymer technology. Professor Sayyed has authored over 377 research papers and edited 35 books with prominent international publishers. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology and the Indian Phytopathological Society, among other prestigious memberships. His work includes leading numerous research and institutional development projects, and he has mentored over 100 graduate and doctoral students.
