Dr. Sreedhar Reddy currently working as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of Nizwa, Oman. Before coming to Oman, he worked with VIT University, India and Adama University, Ethiopia. He obtained PhD. in Civil Engineering (Environmental Engineering) from SV University, India in 2005. His areas of interest are treatment of industrial effluents using advanced photochemical oxidation technologies, treatment of water using low cost sustainable technologies and assessment of environmental awareness of students. Dr. Reddy played an important role in getting approvals from Ministry of higher education to start post-graduate program in Civil engineering at Adama University and University of Nizwa. He is PI and member of TRC (The Research Council in Oman) and University of Nizwa (internal projects) funded projects.

Treatment of water and treated wastewater using SODIS and assessment of environmental awareness of school and college students in Oman.

In his 18 years of teaching and research career, Dr. Reddy published 40 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Dr.Reddy guided several student projects at bachelor level and postgraduate level.
