STEP paves way for scientific and technological exchanges of Islamic world

The 6th round of Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic countries will be held from November 9 to 11 at different universities in Tehran.

The main aim of STEP is paving the way for scientific interaction of Islamic world and to gather scientists in order to solve the problems of Islamic world, the executive secretary of the event Mohammad Mahdi Jafari said during the STEP’s first strategic committee meeting.

The event will be held simultaneous with the 2019 Mustafa Prize Award Ceremony. The theme of 6th round of STEP will be water-energy nexus and health. The event also highlights scientific collaboration, science communication, financing for science and technology and also women in science and technology.

About 85 scientists from 31 countries including Malaysia, Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, UK, India and Canada and Egypt will attend the event.
