Water-Energy-Environment Nexus Statement Read at the 6th STEP

During the closing ceremony of the water-energy-environment nexus summit which was held in Sharif Energy Research Institute on Sunday, November 10, the conclusions of the previous panels that had been conducted earlier that day were drawn by the moderators of the panels: Mohammad Hassan Saidi, Ali Asghar Alamoldoha, and Ali Abbaspour.

Then, an early draft of statement for water-energy-environment nexus was read by Majid Abbaspour to be published later. In the statement he talked of various scientists who attended the event from countries such as Malaysia, Turkey, England, Iraq, Oman, Switzerland, Egypt, Uganda, Pakistan, and Indonesia. Moreover, the specialized programs of the day including keynote addresses, workshops, and different panels were explained. The version of the statement which will be released later will include recommendations gathered from the panels held earlier.

At the end of the closing ceremony, certificates were given to the guests and the panel discussion ended.
