Development of the countries closely is related to the health of the society and many types of research in different field of the health are in progress from the medicine and treatment of physical and mental disease to the health economic issues and insurance in health care systems, education, management, etc. Most of the Islamic countries are categorized as the developing countries and it means that “health” and its related subjects need to be considered as a worthy area of research. 
Health is important subject in Islam and there are many guides and rules for all features of life; most of them aimed to provide good state of the spiritual, emotional, psychological, and physical situation for individuals and society. Traditions and culture of society have deep effect on the health of people so one of the scientists and elites’ missions is communication with all parts of society and provide simple and scientific answers for their questions besides the cutting edge researches in their special fields.
The environment is another important issue with principal relations with health and society. Researchers and decision-makers should consider how they might affect the environment and what are the effects of environment on people and their well-being. 
Based on these facts, in 6th step program, we decide to explicitly discus about health, environment, and society.
